Remote WordPress Developer

Description:

• The WordPress Developer will collaborate with the Moodle Community team to maintain and enhance the moodlemoot.org and fund.moodle.org WordPress websites.
• Responsibilities include leading website development projects, ensuring adherence to WordPress coding standards, writing user cases for testing, analyzing data for decision-making, and fostering relationships with team members and community.
• The role involves developing processes to educate team members on new WordPress features effectively.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in developing professional WordPress multisite websites.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Ajax, with a strong understanding of databases and SQL, preferably MySQL.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills to explain complex development concepts clearly.
• Ability to create technical documentation, such as help articles, blog posts, and support tickets.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse, global team environment.
