Description:

• The IT product team is seeking an experienced and active WordPress Developer to maintain and update our 3 product-dedicated websites, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and feature the latest functionalities.
• Responsibilities include overseeing the maintenance and updates of the three product websites, developing new web pages and WordPress features, integrating sales pages, blogs, thematic research, and other necessary content.
• Customizing WordPress themes and plugins according to the branding and functional requirements of each website.
• Implementing responsive design to ensure websites are mobile-friendly.
• Optimizing websites for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborating with the product marketing team to incorporate marketing requirements into functional web design.
• Regularly updating content, resolving any technical issues with product and support teams.
• Staying updated on industry trends and applying best practices in web design and development.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial experience in web development or a similar position.
• Portfolio showcasing previous work including responsive design and WordPress projects.
• Experience with WordPress, including themes, plugins, and block editors (Gutenberg, Elementor, WPBakery).
• Proficient in interface technologies including CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, and knowledge of React/VueJS for using Tailwind components.
• Basic knowledge of PHP.
• Understanding of template hierarchy and its core principles.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and ensuring compliance with applications.
• Basic knowledge of browser testing and debugging.
• Basic knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GTM Events).
• Strong understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Project management skills, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
