Remote WordPress Developer

Description:

• The WordPress Developer will collaborate with the Moodle Community team to maintain and enhance the moodlemoot.org and fund.moodle.org WordPress websites.
• Responsibilities include leading website development projects, ensuring adherence to WordPress coding standards, and creating user cases for testing.
• The role involves analyzing data, building relationships with team members, and facilitating understanding of new WordPress features.
• The position offers flexibility to work from anywhere in Europe as a full-time contractor.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in developing professional WordPress multisite websites.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Ajax, with a strong understanding of databases and SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse, global environment.
• Experience in producing technical documentation and supporting team members in utilizing WordPress functionalities effectively.
