Description:
The WordPress Developer will collaborate with the Moodle Community team to maintain and enhance the moodlemoot.org and fund.moodle.org WordPress websites.
Responsibilities include leading website development projects, ensuring adherence to WordPress coding standards, and creating user cases for testing.
The role involves analyzing data, building relationships with team members, and facilitating understanding of new WordPress features.
The position offers flexibility to work from anywhere in Europe as a full-time contractor.
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in developing professional WordPress multisite websites.
Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Ajax, with a strong understanding of databases and SQL.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse, global environment.
Experience in producing technical documentation and supporting team members in utilizing WordPress functionalities effectively.
