Description:
We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our client's dynamic agency.
The developer will be proficient in both front-end and back-end development.
A strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and WordPress is required.
Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and enhancing WordPress websites.
The developer will ensure websites are secure, fully responsive, and aligned with design and functionality standards.
Key tasks involve creating custom WordPress themes and plugins, customizing pages with CSS according to designs from Figma, and managing WordPress installations, including plugins, updates, and backups.
The role also includes implementing tracking scripts such as Google Tag Manager and GA4, debugging and troubleshooting WordPress issues, and collaborating with design and project management teams.
Staying current with industry best practices and technologies is essential.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a WordPress developer is required.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience with PHP in the WordPress environment.
A minimum of 2 years of experience with WordPress database specifics is necessary.
Proficiency in WordPress Hooks, Shortcodes, Custom Post Types, and Custom Fields (ACF) is required.
Strong knowledge of front-end languages including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is essential.
Experience with WordPress Page Builders such as Beaver Builder, Elementor, Divi, and Avada is needed.
Familiarity with plugins such as Gravity Forms, Yoast, WooCommerce, and Query Monitor is required.
Candidates must possess skills in making websites fully responsive.
Experience with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug is necessary.
Basic WordPress troubleshooting abilities are required.
An understanding of website architecture and aesthetics is essential.
A B2 or better English level is required.
Excellent communication and time management skills are necessary.
