The role of WordPress Developer involves building and managing a portfolio of websites in the plastic surgery niche.
Responsibilities include building and configuring new WordPress sites using the Kadence theme and BigScoots hosting, managing frontend and backend tasks, formatting and publishing SEO-optimized pages, troubleshooting indexing issues, applying design enhancements, implementing on-page SEO, and maintaining multiple microsites.

Requirements:

Proficiency with WordPress, including dashboard, plugins, and theme customization, specifically with Kadence theme or Elementor.
Understanding of local SEO, including schema markup, city-specific pages, and citations.
Experience with WP Rocket, Yoast SEO, and Google Search Console.
A strong eye for layout, spacing, and user-friendly design.
Familiarity with technical SEO aspects such as title/meta tags, headers, internal linking, keyword targeting, and optimized site structures.
Ability to build and manage efficient, lightweight child themes using SEO best practices.
Basic skills in Canva or the ability to communicate design needs to a designer.
Self-directed, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects without micromanagement.
Bonus points for experience in the plastic surgery or healthcare space, comfort with PHP and theme-level customization, familiarity with broader local SEO strategies, and proactive use of AI to improve workflows.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday during business hours in EST.
The salary ranges from $1,500 to $2,500 USD monthly.
The position offers a 100% remote work environment.
