Description:

Multiplica is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join as a WordPress Developer Trainee.
The position is part of a collaborative development team focused on professional growth.
Responsibilities include supporting the creation of WordPress sites from scratch, including design, installation, configuration, and customization.
The trainee will assist in managing, maintaining, and optimizing existing sites.
Participation in the implementation of both custom and third-party themes and plugins is required.
Collaboration with UX/UI designers and other developers to translate designs into functional interfaces is expected.
The trainee will contribute to the technical quality of projects by applying best practices in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
Involvement in technical proposals for new projects and clients is part of the role.
The use of version control tools (Git) and design tools (Figma) will be integrated into the workflow.

Requirements:

Candidates must have training in web development, computer science, or a similar field (either ongoing or recently completed).
Basic to intermediate knowledge of WordPress, including CMS management, installation, plugins, and themes, is required.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is necessary.
Knowledge of PHP as it relates to WordPress is essential.
The ability to work with tools such as Git, Figma, and in collaborative environments is required.

The position offers a 6-month contract with part-time hours of 4 hours per day.
The internship is paid through an agreement with a university or school.
Remote work is available, with a preference for candidates in Barcelona or Madrid.
Trainees will receive support and mentoring from day one.
