Description:

Azumo is hiring an AI Engineer to manage production AI systems, focusing on retrieval pipelines, tool-using agents, and evaluation harnesses.
The role is fully remote across Latin America, aligned with client working hours.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in production software development, primarily using Python.
Experience with LLM-based systems, including retrieval-augmented generation and prompt design.
Hands-on experience with vector and retrieval infrastructure (e.g., pgvector, Pinecone).
Familiarity with agent frameworks and tooling (e.g., LangChain, MCP).
Proven ability to build evaluation suites for LLM systems.
Cloud deployment experience, preferably with Azure.
Understanding of latency, token cost, and throughput management.
Proficient in AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
Strong English communication skills (C1 or above).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
