Description:

• Join the central Data Science Team as an Applied AI/ML Engineer to develop and implement AI technologies in productive applications.
• Create robust, scalable AI solutions to enhance Breuninger's position as an international omnichannel department store.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Informatics, or a related technical field.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for complex database queries.
• Experience in developing and operationalizing ML or GenAI solutions.
• Familiarity with Cloud and MLOps, preferably GCP or MLflow.
• Knowledge of GenAI approaches like LLMs, RAG, LangChain/LangGraph, and AI APIs.
• Understanding of AI solution architecture; knowledge of MCP/A2A/A2UI/AG-UI and Multi-Agent Patterns is a plus.
• Solution-oriented, pragmatic, and user-centered mindset.
• Familiar with agile methodologies and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
