Remote AI Platform Engineer

Description:

• Build and manage the MCP fleet, ensuring security and patching for self-hosted and managed servers.
• Own the agent platform, enabling other teams to deploy agents independently.
• Co-own the Bedrock runtime and gateway, managing access, cost attribution, and content-filtering.
• Develop visibility for AI spend and usage through a pipeline to Snowflake.
• Simplify secure paths for non-technical employees through MDM config and AI automations.
• Implement governance in the platform, ensuring data sensitivity and auditability.

Requirements:

• 6+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps with production ownership experience.
• Proficient in AWS services (IAM, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch) and VPC knowledge.
• Full-stack development experience, including backend services, APIs, and CI/CD.
• Ability to build from scratch, not just integrate existing solutions.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, including API usage and prompt engineering.
• Self-directed with the ability to clarify and execute on vague tasks.
