Description:

• Own the technical architecture of Sparkrock's K-12 Student Information System, integrating legacy VB6/COM/T-SQL systems with modern C#.
• Direct AI coding agents to implement architectural decisions, ensuring quality and correctness of AI-generated code.
• Define architectural guardrails and participate in requirements reviews, driving continuous improvement of agent workflows.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years as an architect or technical lead.
• Deep expertise in C#/.NET (including .NET Core/8, ASP.NET Web API) and hands-on experience with complex T-SQL.
• Proven ability to navigate large legacy codebases (VB6, VB.NET, COM, Classic ASP) and experience in AI-first development.
• Strong written communication skills and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
