Description:
We are building the technical infrastructure for a new kind of venture capital firm where AI systems dramatically enhance performance.
The role involves architecting and owning these systems end-to-end, rather than simply integrating existing workflows with AI.
You will have the autonomy to make architectural decisions and ship production systems that directly impact fund performance.
The position requires close collaboration with a Principal and General Partner who understand technical tradeoffs and will empower you in building a world-class venture capital firm.
After developing internal systems, you will deploy this infrastructure across business units, create technical SOPs, and help scale the technical platform beyond the fund.
This is a high-impact and high-visibility role designed for someone looking to shape their career in the new AI-first economy.
Requirements:
You should have 3-6 years of software engineering or technical product experience, with a demonstrated ability to ship production systems.
Strong Python or other object-oriented programming skills are required, with experience in writing services that process real data, not just scripts.
Deep experience with APIs, webhooks, and integration architecture is necessary, including understanding auth flows, rate limits, and failure modes.
Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and prompt engineering for production use cases is essential.
Familiarity with workflow orchestration is required.
Experience in designing data models and working with CRMs and data models is necessary.
You will have architectural ownership, making real decisions about how systems are built rather than implementing someone else's specifications.
Direct exposure to venture capital deal flow, LP relationships, and portfolio operations is preferred.
You will work with leadership that understands technical tradeoffs and values engineering excellence.
The role involves building greenfield systems, focusing on new infrastructure rather than maintaining legacy code.
There is a path to platform business, allowing you to deploy your systems across portfolio companies as a product.
Benefits:
You will receive competitive compensation for your work.
The role offers the chance to shape the future of work by crafting your position directly.
