Remote Applied AI Engineer

Description:

• BrightPlan is a remote-first SaaS company focused on Total Financial Wellness, providing AI-powered solutions for employee financial health.
• The Applied AI Engineer will enhance AI features, particularly the AI Coach experience, within a production SaaS platform.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Python development skills and experience with AI-powered coding tools (preferably Anthropic's Claude Code).
• Experience building backend services or APIs and working with LLM APIs or generative AI services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Nice to have: Experience with FastAPI, prompt evaluation, integrating AI into SaaS platforms, and fintech or B2B SaaS experience.
