Description:

Responsible for day-to-day database operations and backup/recovery for a large North American automotive enterprise customer with a multi-account AWS estate (155 accounts).
Maintain RDS, Aurora, and self-managed databases, ensuring backups are functional and executing disaster-recovery runbooks as needed.

Requirements:

Experience with AWS database services (RDS, Aurora) and backup/recovery processes.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including OS/middleware, EKS, network/security, and architecture engineers.
