Key responsibilities include developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend modules to support operational workflows.
You will integrate with external systems, HR systems, rostering platforms, and telematics sources.
You will implement data transformation, validation rules, and complex business logic.
Ensuring security through proper authentication, authorization, and data protection standards is essential.
You will optimize service performance and efficiency for high-volume operational data.
Collaboration with the Client Data Engineer and internal Frontend Developer is necessary to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality.
You will maintain version control, documentation, and adherence to coding standards.
Participation in sprint planning, estimations, and technical discussions is expected.

Requirements:

Strong experience with modern backend frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, Node.js, Java, or similar) is required.
Experience developing secure, scalable REST APIs is essential.
Familiarity with integration patterns, message queues, and event-driven architecture is necessary.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases is required.
Practical knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT) is essential.
Strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this position.
