Description:

We are seeking a top-tier Backend Engineer to join our tech team and collaborate closely with our CTO and the rest of the tech team.
The core responsibilities include building and operating large-scale, distributed systems that power AI-ready web search.
You will develop APIs, data pipelines, and microservices for indexing, retrieval, and monitoring.
The role involves optimizing performance, scalability, and resource usage across our stack.
You will participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design.
Collaboration with ML and product teams to deliver data-driven features is essential.
Writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews are key aspects of the job.

Requirements:

You should be excited to help build Google for AI agents and believe in Linkup’s mission.
Strong experience in backend development is required.
A solid understanding of distributed systems, caching, and data storage internals is necessary.
You must care about performance, reliability, and code quality.
Enjoying debugging tough production issues and optimizing performance bottlenecks is important.
Curiosity about AI infrastructure and retrieval systems is a plus.
