Description:

  • Join Stream as a Staff Backend Engineer to lead the technical direction of Stream Video's media infrastructure.
  • Work in a hybrid role, 3 days a week in Amsterdam or remote from anywhere in the EU.

Requirements:

  • Extensive backend engineering experience with high-scale production systems.
  • Expert proficiency in Go or equivalent systems language (Rust, C++, Java).
  • Experience with real-time media or streaming technologies (WebRTC, SFU/MCU, RTP/RTCP).
  • Strong knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and cost management.
  • Clear written communication skills for design documentation.
