The engineering team is looking for an experienced backend engineer to build healthcare APIs and extend existing systems.
The backend infrastructure is exclusively hosted on AWS, utilizing serverless technologies like Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
The team uses CDK (TypeScript) for infrastructure as code and primarily writes API backends and EDI parsing engines in Rust.
Responsibilities include designing and developing complex web applications and APIs, improving AWS service usage, and contributing to engineering excellence.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of coding experience, with previous work in Rust and TypeScript being beneficial.
A minimum of 4+ years of experience working with AWS services is required.
Commitment to working with AWS serverless offerings in a production environment is essential.
Candidates should be able to prioritize work based on business and customer needs.
High bandwidth and thoughtful attention to multiple areas simultaneously are necessary.
Ability to context switch as priorities shift throughout the day or week is important.
