Description:

  • Vida is a virtual obesity care provider focused on improving healthcare through technology and personalized treatment.
  • The Backend Software Engineer II will build and maintain the data platform that supports Vida's business operations, including member identity, eligibility, and billing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of backend software development experience, primarily in Python.
  • Strong programming fundamentals, experience with relational databases and SQL, and knowledge of testing, debugging, and APIs.
  • Ability to work with incomplete requirements and improve existing codebases.
  • Experience in cloud environments and handling data-intensive systems is preferred.
