Remote C Developer Intern (remote work)

Description:

• Join TuxCare as a C Developer Intern and gain hands-on experience in C development.
• Contribute to innovative projects within the Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) team, focusing on security solutions for Linux and open-source software.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with C: ability to read, debug, and reason about C/systems code.
• Familiarity with GNU/Linux, command line, and shell scripting.
• Experience using Git for development and patch/branch management.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants and critically evaluating their output.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Nice to have: RPM/DEB packaging experience, CVE research, debugging with GDB and strace, awareness of AI-assisted development tools.
