Remote Cloud Architect

Description:

• Advise customers on cloud and hybrid hosting solutions for Mendix based on cost, performance, and security.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and operations of Mendix platform deployments in Kubernetes environments (AWS EKS, Azure AKS, etc.).
• Support customers with CI/CD pipelines to optimize Mendix deployments.
• Get trained on Mendix Cloud Architecture principles and deployment possibilities.
• Define, explain, implement, and troubleshoot automated hosting infrastructure.
• Experiment with innovative approaches to automating cloud infrastructure and AI-driven solutions.

Requirements:

• Self-starter with a professional mentality and customer engagement skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• 4+ years of experience in microservices architectures and containerized environments, with 2+ years in cloud infrastructures.
• Experience in architecting and operating automated containerized Cloud infrastructure, especially Kubernetes.
• Skills in database administration (Postgres, SQLServer, Oracle), cloud-database, authentication, and networking.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (GIT/SVN, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Ability to travel to client sites routinely.

Benefits:

• Salary range of $135,000 - $150,000 annually, with potential for incentive compensation.
