The Cloud Data Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing data models and pipelines for scalable analytics solutions.
Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining robust data models using techniques like Kimball or Data Vault.
The role involves developing scalable data pipelines and performing data transformations in Python.
Collaboration with business stakeholders to understand reporting and visualization needs is essential.
The engineer will implement data visualizations and dashboards in modern tools such as Looker or Looker Studio.
Ensuring data quality, documentation, and best practices in every stage of data delivery is a critical responsibility.
The position requires working in cross-functional teams and collaborating on cloud-based data architectures.

Requirements:

Strong experience with SQL and data modeling techniques such as Kimball and Data Vault is required.
Proficiency in Python for data processing and transformations is necessary.
Hands-on experience with at least one data visualization tool, such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau, is essential.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Nice to have: Previous experience with BigQuery or Looker, experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code, knowledge of Dataform or dbt for data pipeline management, and familiarity with Looker Studio.
Excellent written and spoken English at a minimum B2 level is required.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-oriented skills are necessary.
