Remote Cloud Engineer

Description:

• SOSi is seeking a Cloud Engineer to develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable data ecosystem for a DoD customer.
• The role involves enhancing interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics to enable real-time information sharing and dynamic data integration.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of GovCloud infrastructures in AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Expertise in cloud architecture, networking, virtualization, containerization, and security best practices, with proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud configurations, IAM, and cross-domain solutions.
• Strong knowledge of the Authority to Operate (ATO) process and compliance with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or five years of equivalent experience in cloud engineering.
• Proficiency in IAM, RBAC, Zero Trust Architecture, and cloud networking configurations.
• Experience in preparing security documentation and collaborating with cybersecurity teams.
