Description:

The company is seeking an experienced engineer to join its Observability team, which builds and operates the telemetry platform for internal monitoring and customer observability features.
The systems managed by the team ingest trillions of events daily, with throughput in the tens of millions per second.
Engineers on the team are hybrid software, systems, and infrastructure engineers focused on ensuring the platform's reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
The role involves collaboration with product and infrastructure teams and participation in major engineering initiatives across the company.
Candidates should thrive in fast-paced environments, be hands-on during incidents, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities include designing and operating distributed systems, owning the reliability and performance of telemetry pipelines, participating in on-call rotations, building automation tools, identifying bottlenecks, and mentoring teammates.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience building and running production systems at scale.
Proficiency in Golang is required.
Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools is necessary.
Candidates should be comfortable working with at least one major cloud provider, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar observability tools is required.
Experience with ClickHouse is preferred.
