Remote Cloud Web Developer

Description:

• SOSi is seeking Cloud Web Developers to support mission requirements for a structured approach to develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem.
• The primary objective is to enhance interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer.
• The role involves bridging operational gaps between DoD, IC, interagency, and non-traditional international partners for real-time information sharing and dynamic data integration.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining secure cloud-based web applications.
• The position requires ensuring compliance with FedRAMP and DoD Impact Level (IL) security requirements.
• Developers will also be tasked with developing and maintaining APIs within cloud-native architectures.
• Work will be conducted within Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.
• The role requires applying modern web frameworks and secure development best practices.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in cloud-based web development is required.
• Candidates must have demonstrated experience developing secure web applications.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular is necessary.
• Experience with API development using REST and GraphQL is required.
• Candidates should have experience with cloud platforms, including AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture and CI/CD pipelines is also required.
• Preferred qualifications include AWS Certified Developer – Associate and Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certifications.
