Description:

  • Seeking experienced COBOL developers to improve AI systems' understanding and modernization of COBOL codebases.
  • Role involves working with existing COBOL repositories and providing insights on program structure and design.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on COBOL development experience.
  • Must have created and own at least one meaningful COBOL repository.
  • Strong knowledge of COBOL divisions, data structures, and procedural logic.
  • Experience with JCL and at least one of CICS, DB2, IMS, or VSAM.
  • Clear written English and ability to explain code to non-experts.
