Remote Cyber Security Engineer (Application Security)

Description:

• Seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to manage application security in the SDLC and CI/CD pipeline.
• Role involves securing CI/CD pipelines, code scanning workflows, and infrastructure-as-code in a healthcare-regulated environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years in application security or security engineering.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, SAST/DAST, and security misconfigurations in infrastructure-as-code.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST) and API security.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure preferred, AWS a plus) and willingness to participate in incident response on-call rotation.
• Industry certifications such as GWAPT, OSWE, GPEN, or cloud security certifications are ideal.
