Description:

  • LiveKit is seeking a Security Engineer to develop and manage their vulnerability management and security operations program.
  • The role involves ensuring the security of audio, video, and data for customers, with a focus on vulnerability management as the company grows.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in security engineering, security operations, or software engineering with a focus on security.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability management programs or security tooling (SCA, container, cloud, or host scanning).
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in languages like Go or Python, and familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
  • Ability to assess the severity of findings using CVSS and communicate risk to the business.
