Description:

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer for the Security Operation (SOC) team.
The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining security solutions, focusing on SIEM and enterprise security technology in a hybrid cloud/on-prem environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
5+ years in cybersecurity or IT security engineering with strategic ownership and reporting.
Experience with SIEM and EDR tools, log ingestion, normalization, and custom rule development.
Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or similar programming languages.
Familiarity with cloud security best practices, especially in Azure.
Solid understanding of network security, endpoint protection, and identity access controls.
Preferred experience in healthcare or regulated sectors and knowledge of compliance frameworks like HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST CSF/800-53.
Certifications such as GCIA, GSEC, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate preferred.
