Description:

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer who will utilize various methods to transform raw data into useful data systems.
The selected individual will create algorithms and perform statistical analyses to drive efficiency, aligning data systems with business objectives.
The position is 100% remote and open to candidates in Mexico only.
The contract type is under Mexican payroll, and the contractor will be provided with a laptop.
The contract duration is for 1 year with the possibility of extension.

Requirements:

The candidate must have experience in writing complex SQL queries.
Extensive practical experience with any ETL tool, including Talend, Informatica, or Datastage, is required.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing data ingestion processes, data processing, and creating analytical pipelines for big data, relational databases, SQL, and data warehousing solutions is necessary.
The ability to analyze and organize raw data is essential.
Experience in building data systems and pipelines is required.
The candidate must evaluate business needs and objectives and perform complex data analyses.
Preparing data for prescriptive and predictive models is a key responsibility.
The ability to combine raw information from different sources is necessary.
The candidate should explore ways to improve data quality and reliability.
Proficiency in English is required.
Desirable skills include experience with Talend ETL and Python.

The contractor will receive a laptop for work purposes.
The position offers a contract duration of 1 year with the possibility of extension.
