Description:

Azumo is seeking a Data Engineer to manage ingestion and transformation pipelines, storage design, and retrieval infrastructure for AI systems.
The role is fully remote across Latin America, aligned with client working hours.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in building and operating production data pipelines using Python and SQL.
Expertise in designing data warehouses or lakehouses, including dimensional modeling and incremental processing.
Experience with distributed processing using Spark, Kafka, or similar technologies.
Proficiency in orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
Familiarity with cloud deployment, preferably Azure, and CI/CD practices.
Strong understanding of pipeline cost, runtime, and throughput management.
Active use of AI-assisted coding tools and clear communication skills in English (C1 or above).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
