Remote Senior AI Data Engineer 

Description:

• Evolve and enhance the core platform for entity management and governance.
• Build and improve Named Entity Recognition (NER) pipelines using LLM-based models and other techniques.
• Extend NER capabilities to new content types, including live-stream content.
• Improve search and entity discovery through entity resolution and personalized search.
• Design and query graph-based relationship models for visualization and business context.
• Implement entity-level security and access controls.
• Onboard new data sources and support integrations with applications.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and AI workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape and prioritize the platform roadmap.
• Support team onboarding and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with data-intensive platforms.
• Experience with search platforms like Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
• Knowledge of graph databases and knowledge graphs (e.g., Neo4j).
• Applied NLP and NER experience, including LLM-based extraction.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and observability tools.
• Strong systems thinking, architecture, and data modeling skills.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to evaluate and correct AI-generated outputs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of permission-aware data access and security filtering.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java).
