Description:

Seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and automation systems for cloud cost visibility and performance insights.
Work with large-scale telemetry, usage, and financial data to support informed decision-making for Product, Engineering, and Finance stakeholders.

Requirements:

Strong experience in building and maintaining end-to-end ELT or ETL pipelines in cloud environments.
Proficient in SQL and Python, with experience in data workflow tools like dbt, Airflow, or Dagster.
Hands-on experience with AWS data ecosystem (AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, Amazon Aurora) and Snowflake.
Strong data modeling and processing skills, with experience in CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Experience with REST API integrations and optimizing data pipelines for performance and cost.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting skills, and experience with data validation and production pipeline support.
Enterprise experience preferred; nice-to-have skills include Scala, FinOps certification, and experience with cloud cost optimization.

Remote contract opportunity for candidates located in LATAM.
Full-time allocation of approximately 40 hours per week, with a schedule aligned to U.S. EST or CST.
Contract expected to continue through March 31, 2027.
