Description:

Seeking a Senior FinOps Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data ingestion, automation, and analytical platforms for cloud cost transparency and optimization.
Work with large-scale billing, usage, telemetry, performance, and financial data to enable data-driven decisions for stakeholders.

Requirements:

Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Spark, and Scala.
Experience with workflow orchestration tools (dbt, Airflow, Dagster) and AWS services (Glue, Aurora, Athena).
Familiarity with GCP, Snowflake, and data pipeline architecture.
Strong data modeling skills and experience with data validation and auditing.
Knowledge of CI/CD processes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and REST API programming.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Remote contract opportunity for candidates located in LATAM.
Full-time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week, with a schedule aligned to U.S. EST or CST.
Contract expected to last until March 31, 2027.
