Particle41 is seeking a skilled and adaptable Data Engineer (Power BI) to join their growing team.
The role involves building and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, optimizing data warehouse/lakehouse solutions, and delivering reliable, analysis-ready datasets.
The Data Engineer will develop and enhance Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reporting solutions, ensuring performance, accuracy, and business relevance.
Collaboration with product, engineering, and business stakeholders is essential to deliver end-to-end data and BI solutions that drive meaningful outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or BI Engineer, with at least 3 years of experience is necessary.
Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling (semantic layer), DAX, Power Query (M), and dashboard/report optimization is essential.
Hands-on experience with SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL preferred) and query optimization is required.
Proficiency in Python for data transformation, automation, and integrations is necessary.
Experience with data warehousing/lakehouse principles and performance tuning concepts is required.
Exposure to tools/technologies such as Databricks, Spark, PySpark, Pandas, and APIs/data integrations (Flask or similar frameworks) is valued.
Familiarity with utilities & tools like logging, requests, subprocess, regex, and pytest is necessary.
Knowledge of Git and modern collaborative development workflows is required.
Comfort working in Linux and writing basic shell scripts is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders are required.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools/technologies as needed is important.
