Remote Data Governance Lead

Description:

• Lead the development and implementation of data governance practices to enhance data quality and ownership across the organization.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure data definitions, classifications, and metrics are established and maintained for AI-powered products.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or data management.
• Proven ability to build data governance programs from the ground up.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to engage in technical discussions and review SQL/data models.
• Experience with data governance tools (e.g., BigQuery, dbt, Unity Catalog) and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Knowledge of core governance domains and regulatory frameworks.
