Remote Data platform SRE/Observability Engineer

Description:

• Develop end-to-end monitoring for infrastructure stacks including Trino, Kubernetes, databases, and Big Data.
• Implement automatic collection of DORA metrics and create health dashboards for service uptime.
• Audit current metrics to eliminate gaps in infrastructure monitoring.
• Optimize Alertmanager rules for proactive incident detection.
• Serve as a monitoring expert to relieve team leads from routine tasks.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as DevOps/SRE and 5+ years in IT.
• Knowledge of Python, Go/JS is a plus.
• Experience as an SRE or monitoring engineer focused on infrastructure reliability.
• Deep knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager, including complex PromQL queries.
• Understanding of SLI/SLO/SLA concepts and DORA metrics collection methodology.
• Experience with Kubernetes, databases, and distributed systems (Hadoop, Trino).
• Ability to translate system behaviors and logs into actionable metrics.
