Remote Data Science Intern

Description:

• Wurl, LLC is seeking a Data Science Intern for a year-long internship to support the Data Science and Machine Learning team.
• The role involves analyzing large datasets, identifying anomalies, normalizing data, and improving data accuracy.

Requirements:

• Education: PhD/MSc preferred in Data Science, AI/ML, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science; BSc with high GPA also accepted.
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, applied statistics, machine learning fundamentals, and experience with distributed data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
• Ability to write clean analytical code, perform root-cause analysis, and translate ambiguous problems into mathematical formulations.
• Personal attributes: high intellectual curiosity, strong ownership, effective communication skills, and a willingness to challenge assumptions.
