Remote Database Reliability Engineer - Core Team

Description:

• Join ClickHouse's Site Reliability Engineering team to enhance the reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of ClickHouse.
• Collaborate with various teams to implement best practices and manage engineering escalation processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Reliability Engineering, QA, or customer-facing engineering.
• Experience with ClickHouse or other SQL databases in production.
• Strong understanding of distributed database internals and SQL.
• Proficient in Shell or Python scripting and able to read C++ code.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and production debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
