Remote Design Engineer - AI Clips Team

Description:

• Restream is looking for a Design Engineer to develop the user interface of their product and build new features that are both functional and visually appealing.
• The primary responsibility of the Design Engineer is to ensure that products and features are user-friendly, well-crafted, and provide value to users.
• As a team member, you will ideate, develop, and ship groundbreaking experiences in a small team where each member contributes significant value.
• Responsibilities include crafting every detail of new product features from idea to design to implementation, designing and implementing UI/UX and business logic for features, building and iterating on features to drive user engagement and conversion, collaborating with product, marketing, and customer support teams, giving and receiving code review feedback, and maintaining awareness of emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• A deep understanding of the UX design process and strategy is required.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing an excellent user experience are essential.
• Proficiency with Figma or any other design and prototyping tool is necessary.
• A strong portfolio of previous design projects is required.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, React, and at least one of React’s major state management systems is needed.
• Comfort with Figma, React, TypeScript, MobX, AWS, and continuous deployment workflow is expected.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• The candidate should be self-directed, analytical, and able to work well in a team environment.
• A passion for the Restream product is important.
