Description:

Tailscale is seeking a Developer Relations Engineer to enhance the developer experience across its product portfolio, including core VPN and new areas like secure AI access and privileged access management.
The role involves creating technical content, building demos, and representing Tailscale at events to help developers understand and adopt Tailscale's products.

Requirements:

Strong software engineering background with experience in building and debugging projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in public speaking to technical audiences.
Deep curiosity about systems, especially in networking, security, and developer tooling.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects independently.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Experience with GitHub, open source contributions, and technical writing.
