Description:

Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions is seeking an experienced DevOps Cloud Engineer for the Energy Cloud project, which aims to achieve energy-saving goals through a comprehensive IT solution.
The project focuses on reducing emissions in line with the Paris Climate Agreement by developing scientifically grounded emission reduction strategies.
The role involves receiving data from both external networks and Telekom’s private network, collaborating with various teams including an external machine learning team and an IoT device control team.
Daily tasks include developing and maintaining data-centric applications using Python, designing and implementing cloud infrastructure within the AWS ecosystem, and monitoring system performance using Datadog.
The engineer will create efficient internal processes, collaborate with stakeholders, apply DevOps practices, and manage challenges related to system operations.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience is required.
Candidates must possess good English written and oral skills.
Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills are essential for effective communication with internal stakeholders.
Strong experience with Python, AWS (including S3, Lambda, DynamoDB), and Datadog is mandatory.
A dedication to Clean Code principles, experience in test-driven development, and familiarity with DevOps practices are required.
Nice-to-have skills include experience in Argo workflows, Kafka, Terraform, and familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
