Atmosera is seeking a skilled engineer to support GitHub Enterprise Cloud migration projects.
This contractor role involves migrating repositories from GitHub Enterprise Server, BitBucket, or GitLab to GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
The position is highly collaborative, working with client engineering teams to help define a scalable migration strategy.
Responsibilities include migrating source code repositories, interfacing with client engineers and leadership, building and documenting a migration path, collaborating with project management, analyzing existing configurations, troubleshooting migration issues, building and maintaining scripts, and creating GitHub Actions workflows.

Requirements:

Strong experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud, GitLab, GitHub Enterprise Server, and/or BitBucket is required.
Experience in planning and executing source control migrations, including defining scope, branch mapping, history retention, and permission translation is necessary.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation is essential.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies is required.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are a must.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
Experience with package management is also required.

This is a contractor position in the United States with the ability to work from home.
The role may require travel to a client site.
