The DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in evolving the infrastructure and platform tooling to support a growing engineering team.
This hands-on technical role involves driving key initiatives across deployment, observability, and developer productivity.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, improving system observability, optimizing cloud usage, and enhancing platform resilience.
The role requires collaboration with application engineers, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders like Security and Finance to ensure system reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering roles, preferably in high-growth startup environments.
Proficiency in Python or Go is required, along with strong software engineering fundamentals.
Proven ownership of production infrastructure and platform tooling is necessary, including strong debugging skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
Experience in designing and implementing secure and robust infrastructure, particularly in regulated environments, is essential.
Deep experience with Kubernetes and tools like ArgoCD, Helm, and Terraform is required.
Familiarity with GCP or other major cloud providers, with a focus on cloud cost management, is preferred.
Hands-on experience with dedicated FinOps tooling or custom tooling for cost allocation and reporting is necessary.
Strong experience in building CI/CD pipelines and internal developer tooling from scratch is required.
Experience with observability tools like Prometheus or Datadog, and participation in an on-call rotation is necessary.
Experience with FedRAMP certification is a plus.
