ProSidian seeks a DOE - NNSA Environmental Scientist for Environmental Management and Sustainability, based near CONUS - Washington, DC, with remote work options.
This is a full-time Senior Consultant position aligned with the Environmental Scientist Labor Category.
The role involves supporting Nuclear Energy Sector clients and contributing to client deliverables related to Environmental Management and Sustainability.
Candidates will utilize knowledge from various scientific and engineering disciplines to develop methods for studying the environment and identifying environmental threats.
Responsibilities include supporting the U.S. Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) in Technical, Engineering, and Programmatic Services.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
A Bachelor's Degree is required for this position.
U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for applicants.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe, is required.
All staff must be eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” by the USG’s designated Security Office.
Candidates may need to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance.
