Description:

Core member of a small engineering team building distributed microservices backend on AWS.
Full ownership of services from design to production, making architectural decisions and proactively solving problems.

Requirements:

Work permit for Poland.
5+ years of backend development experience in Java and/or Kotlin.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservice patterns, and event-driven architecture.
Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS/DynamoDB).
Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
Proficient in Docker and containerized deployments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions.
Ability to write clean, maintainable code.
Self-directed problem-solving skills.
Strong plus: Kotlin experience, message broker knowledge, observability tooling familiarity, logistics/supply chain background, third-party API integration experience.
