As an engineer at Bask, you will work directly with the CEO and CTO to build and design the software infrastructure that will serve as the backbone of telehealth.
The company is looking to expand its software engineers, seeking those with a deep-rooted entrepreneurial spirit.
The serverless platform is built using Next.js, Drizzle, and SST for a powerful multi-tenant application.
Fluency in these frameworks, along with Typescript and Three.js, is a must.
You will design, build, and implement new services through the full development cycle, writing elegant, well-tested code in a modern technology stack.
You will build libraries and frameworks that can help the team build quickly and efficiently, delivering value to users.
You will work closely with the product team, making architecture and design decisions, participating in stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives, and contributing to the engineering culture that focuses on simple, intuitive, high-impact experiences.
As an engineering generalist, you will develop servers and databases, integrate APIs to expand platform capabilities, and take end-to-end ownership and responsibility across the full development lifecycle.
You will have the opportunity to scale and automate existing services while also bringing new innovations to life, contributing to product strategy and development.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a full-stack generalist with experience taking a product from 0 to 1.
Candidates should be entrepreneurial and willing to roll up their sleeves to get the work done, with a passion for building a platform that will disrupt the healthcare industry.
You must be highly skilled on the frontend of the stack, with expertise in React, TypeScript, Next.js, Three.js, and JavaScript.
Backend skills in SST, Drizzle, SQL, and Node are also required.
You should be able to work independently and be comfortable owning entire projects or large areas of the codebase.
Strong experience in building paid products and services is preferred.
You must be a strong communicator, able to clearly articulate technical problems, constraints, and timelines.
Comfort in working in a fast-paced, unstructured startup environment is essential.
