We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Frontend Software Engineer to join our fast-growing fintech company in Latin America.
As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering resilient and sustainable software projects from design to implementation and rollout.
You will be responsible for developing scalable and maintainable frontend software products and integrating them with cloud services.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers, to create outstanding user interfaces and experiences.
This individual contributor role offers the opportunity to learn and apply best practices in software development, unit testing, deployment, and monitoring in a production environment.
You will work under the guidance of senior engineers but are expected to take initiative, act with urgency, and deliver high-quality work that adds value to our business and customers.
Key responsibilities include developing scalable software products, implementing UI designs, executing on defined projects, taking ownership, collaborating within the team, implementing unit tests and best practices, engaging in Agile processes, staying up-to-date with frontend technologies, cloud integration, mentorship, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, specifically in frontend development is necessary.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, and JavaScript is essential.
Strong experience in implementing UI designs accurately, with attention to detail in visuals and interactions is required.
Experience creating unit tests for UI components using libraries like Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library is necessary.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, preferably GitHub Actions, is preferred.
Knowledge of AWS services related to frontend applications, such as S3 and CloudFront, is required; serverless technologies are a plus.
Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services via RESTful APIs is necessary.
Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues is required.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum or Kanban frameworks, and the ability to engage in Agile processes is necessary.
