Remote Full Stack Engineer (Enterprise)

Description:

• Roboflow's mission is to make the world programmable, focusing on building tools and resources for artificial intelligence and computer vision.
• The Full Stack Engineer will create new features and improve the Roboflow product, primarily using JavaScript and Node.js.
• The role involves supporting the enterprise Jetson inference pipeline, requiring a solid foundation in Linux.
• The engineer will work closely with Enterprise customers to understand their needs and enhance their success with Roboflow.
• Frequent on-site visits with customers, including factory tours, are expected to build relationships and gather requirements.
• Collaboration with the Field Engineering team is essential to improve efficiency in data collection and insights delivery.
• The engineer will work on core product features and may also engage in marketing tool integration, process automation, and open source projects.
• The position offers a high degree of freedom to prioritize projects that enhance customer engagement and success.
• The codebase primarily consists of JavaScript, with machine learning components in Python, and utilizes Firebase, GCS, and AWS.
• The engineer should be eager to learn new skills and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

• Candidates should be technical generalists comfortable with diving into new stacks or toolchains as needed.
• A strong foundation in Linux is highly desirable for supporting the Jetson inference pipeline.
• Experience with JavaScript and Node.js is essential, while familiarity with Python is beneficial.
• The role requires the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks without a rigid roadmap.
• Candidates should be willing to travel for customer site visits and team meetups, approximately 1-2 times per quarter.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work asynchronously with team members are necessary.
• Previous experience in building computer vision projects or contributions to open source projects is a plus.

• The target compensation for this role ranges from $165,000 to $195,000, based on experience.
