The Full Stack Engineer position is a remote, full-time role at Risk Labs, which is the foundation behind UMA and the Across protocol.
The purpose of Across is to enhance the usability, accessibility, and efficiency of blockchains, with a vision of making intents the standard in cross-chain interoperability.
The engineer will work across the product and tech stack, contributing to various products based on their skills and interests.
Responsibilities include implementing, testing, and auditing open-source client libraries for UMA smart contracts, writing backend APIs, developing off-chain bots for protocol protection, building complex smart contract systems, and creating user-friendly frontends that connect users with UMA smart contracts.
The tech stack includes Javascript, Typescript, Node.js, Solidity, web3, ethers, hardhat, and React.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 2 years of full-time experience in Engineering at a software or financial services technology organization.
A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience on a blockchain-based project, with knowledge of smart contract development, is required.
Applicants should demonstrate the ability to learn new technologies and write secure, high-quality code.
A passion for blockchain technology, cryptonomic protocol design, game theory, and decentralized finance is essential.
