Description:

  • Wealthsimple is seeking a Senior Software Developer for its Platform Engineering team to enhance developer experience and build reliable systems.
  • The role involves designing, building, and operating systems that support engineering and data practices, focusing on either Platform Engineering or Data Platforms.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in building production systems, with a strong background in distributed or data-intensive systems.
  • Experience in system design decisions, operational support, and building systems for engineers or data teams.
  • Nice to have: Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS/GCP/Kubernetes), CI/CD or developer tooling experience, familiarity with data tools like dbt, Airflow, Snowflake.
